Be A Changemaker

Empowering communities for sustainable change

SWAN Changemaker

Schools, colleges, and organizations working together for sustainable change.

Leadership Track

Empowering the Stakeholders of Today, Architects of Tomorrow.

At the core of our leadership track is the "Be a SWAN - Changemaker" initiative. Built on the conviction that children are not merely "future" citizens but vital, current stakeholders in our planet’s health, this initiative transforms passion into policy.

To guide this transformation, we have structured the journey into three distinct tiers of growth.

Initiative Core

SWAN — Three-Level Framework

The Core Progression Logic

Every student starts as a Problem Scout in their own backyard or community. Only those who prove their solution works move up. Every level demands more rigour, wider impact, and stronger evidence.

Level 1 — Within School

The Nest

Tier 01
SWAN The Nest - Student Eco-Lab Research
ATMOSPHERE / ENVIRONMENTAL EXPLORATION

Students working collaboratively to identify and research ecological issues in a sunlit eco-lab setting.

Fee

₹1200 per team

Collected from the school, covers print material and certificate printing.

Timeline

4 Weeks

Entirely within the school calendar. Can be run as a term project.

Philosophy

Safe space to identify, research, and prototype. No elimination pressure — every team completes Level 1. It builds the habit of seeing problems.

Team Structure

  • Team size: 3–5 students
  • Age mix encouraged: A Class 6 student paired with a Class 10 student creates peer mentorship naturally
  • One faculty guide per team: Non-interfering — they can ask questions, not give answers

There are Four Phases Inside Level 1 which will be supported with a Referral Manual. A referral manual will be given once the registration of teams are done.

What Gets Judged at Level 1

Criterion Weight
Problem is real and specific 25%
Evidence quality 25%
Solution is original and feasible 30%
Team communication 20%

Outcomes

  • All the team members will receive a SWAN Level 1 certificate
  • Top 1–5 teams per school will advance to Level 2 (School’s choice)
Level 2 — Regional / Inter-School

The Flight on 21/11/2026

Tier 02
SWAN The Flight - Regional Debating Chamber
ATMOSPHERE / HIGH-STAKES GLOBAL SUMMIT

A sharp, wide-angle chamber layout with focused students in business attire presenting under cool and warm stage light.

Fee

₹ 3600 per team

paid to SWAN

Timeline

3 Weeks Prep

Held 3 weeks after Level 1 concludes. Gives teams 2 to 3 weeks between their internal pitch day and the regional event — enough time to improve their pitch.

Philosophy

Your solution worked inside your school or community, now defend it in front of strangers, respond to challenges, and prove it. Pitch to scale it.

Regional / Inter-School Format

  • Cluster size: 10–15 schools per regional group
  • Regions defined: City zones or districts — Hyderabad North, Hyderabad South, Pune East, etc.
  • Duration: 1 day (Saturday)
  • Venue: Rotates between participating schools — hosting school gets a small prestige incentive.

Collaboration and team dynamics 10%

  • Top 1 team per regional cluster advance to Level 3 who will be the SWAN TALKS speaker
  • All participants receive Level 2 certificates + regional ranking
  • Best Problem Scout Award — given to the team with the most rigorously documented problem, regardless of solution quality (encourages honest research)
LEVEL 3 — THE SUMMIT

The Summit - Swan Talks

Voices for Water, Nature & Change
Tier 03
SWAN The Summit - SWAN TALKS Stage Spotlight
ATMOSPHERE / WORLD-CHANGING LEGACY

A single speaker standing mid-gesture on a red circular carpet stage, backed by a large LED screen displaying the Earth from space.

Philosophy

You’ve solved something real. You’ve proven it works. Now show the country — and earn the right to tell the world.

National Summit Format

  • Total teams: Top 1 from each regional cluster
  • If 3 regional clusters run nationally → 3 teams at the Summit
  • Duration: 1 day
  • Venue: Fixed venue by SWAN
Final Milestone
